Privacy explanation
What the page does—and deliberately does not do.
Wood Brief is a static worksheet. The browser turns your answers into plain text on your own device. The application has no receiving endpoint, account system or database.
While you type
- Answers remain in the form fields and generated preview in the current browser tab.
- The application does not send the answers to Wood Websites or any third party.
- The application does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, local storage, session storage, IndexedDB or a service worker.
- The page does not accept uploads and does not place answers in a web address.
- Refreshing or closing the page removes the application's working copy. There is no recovery feature.
When you copy or download
Copying uses the browser's clipboard feature. Downloading creates a plain-text file in memory and asks the browser to save it. Wood Websites cannot control how your browser, operating system, clipboard manager, backup software or downloads folder handles that copy.
If you then send the brief by email or another service, that service's privacy and security arrangements apply. Check the text first and remove anything that should not be shared.
Server records
Cloudflare serves the static files needed to open this public website and may process ordinary technical request information as part of security and delivery. The form never submits its contents. Query-string requests are rejected and the application never creates them.
Information you must not enter
Do not enter credentials, financial information, identity documents or numbers, personal customer records, confidential client messages, contracts, private photographs, or special-category and criminal-record information. Use public business information that is appropriate to share by ordinary email.
